The honest answers

What counts as a seat?

A seat is one person with access to one department portal. Ten people on the call sheet is free; give three of them the Camera portal to run and that's three seats. Turn seats off when the shoot wraps.

So how is crew free?

Anyone can be on your production — assigned, scheduled, and on the call sheet — for free, with no limit, and crew never see a bill. You only pay for the people who actually need to run a department's tools.

Can I reduce my costs?

Turn off seats and portals you're not using, and there's no monthly floor — when a production wraps and you close it, the recurring charges stop. You only carry what's active.

What's the $20 for?

A one-time fee to open a production — its home for your projects, crew, and calendar. You're never charged it again for that production; after that it's just the seats you choose.

Is there annual billing?

Yes — save 20% with annual billing: $96/yr per seat instead of $120. You can also stay month-to-month with no commitment.
